SOLIDWORKS Standalone users
If your serial number starts with 0000, 0001, 9000 or 9001, it is a commercial standalone license. You can deactivate the license and later activate it on your home working pc. You can follow the steps for Activation and Deactivation process.

SolidNetwork License (SNL) Users
If your serial number starts with 0010 or 9010, it is a SolidNetwork License (SNL).
You can opt for a license via a VPN connection. You can set up a secure VPN connection with the help of your IT team. This enables you to get a license for home. Working on a VPN might be slower as compared to your office LAN connection.
If there are no possibilities of having a VPN connection, you can still borrow the license for 30 days being connected to your office LAN. You can follow the steps for borrowing license and returning it.
